Ministry of National Defense Attends Handover Ceremony of Medical Equipment Donated by China

Phnom Penh: On Tuesday afternoon at the Phnom Penh International, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense, Tea Banh attended a handover ceremony of precious medical equipment from the Ministry of National Defense of the People's Republic of China to the Ministry of National Defense of Cambodia.

Tea Banh said the Ministry of National Defense of the Kingdom of Cambodia will use the medicines to prevent the spread of Covid-19, thanking the Chinese Ambassador Wang Vinthean for the donations.

The Defense Ministry has also said China is a steel friend of Cambodia, not only helping in the development of roads, bridges, dams, but helping especially in difficult circumstances. When Cambodia faced the Covid-19 crisis, the People's Republic of China helped with medical equipment, vaccines and a team of doctors came to train the Cambodian doctors to prevent Covid-19 in a successfully way, leading to the reopening of the country.

Tea Banh has also urged the population to continue applying the 3 Do and 3 Don’ts measures, even when fully vaccinated or with a booster dose.
